Job Description Summary Provide care and maintenance for all animals by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Compassionate care is the top priority for all animals Keeps kennels clean, orderly and free of odors Ensures that kennel areas are clean, orderly and safe for animals Feeds animals as scheduled and according to guidelines and make sure that have water at all times Complies with specific feeding programs related to behavioral enrichment for specific animals Ensures that animals have socialization daily Exercises/socializes animals daily and abides by exercise program in place for each dog/cat Documents necessary animal information for management or veterinary staff. Ensures the comfort and cleanliness of all animals Bathes or cleans animals immediately if they become soled with urine, blood, or feces. Takes inventory of stock supplies as needed Cleans laundry as needed Advises Supervisor of any conditions that are unsafe including unrecognized hazards or infractions of safety rules.
