The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for the therapeutic, experiential, and learning opportunities for the residents of JIRDC. This position will have daily contact with treatment teams and other professional services for implementing treatment goals related to communication skills, socialization, self-help and self-esteem, balance, and range of motion, and building body strength. This position provides input on how to utilize the animals and animal related activities to meet the goals established for individuals. The position will assist with coordinating resident supported work activities and assist with the implementation of goaled programs for individuals in accomplishing this task.
