About The Position

Visiting Angels of Chadds Ford is currently seeking amazing Caregivers to service our clients in and around the West Chester area.
Visiting Angels Chadds Ford, PA serves Delaware county, Chester county and the surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Driver’s license, and reliable personal transportation
• Completed or ability to complete a TB test (2-Step PPD, QuantiFERON or chest x-ray)
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• A compassionate, caring and upbeat attitude and love for the senior community

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, or DSP Certification preferred
• Dementia /Alzheimer's care experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-free
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming
• Companionship for seniors
• Maintain communication between seniors, their family members, care team and office staff
• Perform all non-medical tasks according to care plan
