About The Position
The Opportunity: Saint Luke’s East Hospital is looking for Anesthetists (CRNA) to join our Anesthesia Care Team. You will have the opportunity to care for Kansas City’s Eastern patients undergoing a wide range of procedures with 7 supervising anesthesiologists. Saint Luke’s East Hospital off of 470 and Douglas has 8 ORs, 3 out of department locations and 1 ASC. Experienced Anesthetists and new grads are welcome to apply! The Schedule: Schedule consists of four or five shifts per week. OR backup call is taken from home with call-back pay with physician anesthesiologist supervision. Ability to arrive late on call day and get a day of post call. Call is compensated in addition to a VERY competitive base salary. The Work: Administer general anesthesia, sedation, and regional anesthesia Opportunity to manage cases in general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, robotics, endoscopy and plastics This position will NOT be responsible for trauma, cardiac, thoracic, craniotomy or big neuro cases Ability to work with a collaborative group of established physician anesthesiologists with ample autonomy both at work during the day and on-call overnight. Mix of employed and non-employed surgeons in a very collegial OR environment
Requirements
- Less than 1 year Applicable Experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Cert Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Various
- Master's Degree
