About The Position
The Anesthesiology position in Duluth, Minnesota, offers a full-time opportunity within a well-established group of 22 anesthesiologists. This role involves managing approximately 2,200 cases per month, encompassing a diverse range of specialties including General, Trauma, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Pediatrics, and Regional anesthesia. The practice operates under a medically directed care model, collaborating closely with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to ensure high-quality patient care. The surgical schedule is notably busy, covering a wide array of procedures, with the exception of transplants and pediatric heart surgeries. Duluth is recognized for its top-tier medical programs, including being ranked among the Top 100 Interventional Cardiac Programs and the Top 100 Health Grades Joint Replacement Programs. The facilities are certified as HIMSS EMRAM Level 7, indicating a high level of electronic medical record adoption in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. Additionally, the organization is in the process of building a new Level 1 Trauma center, which is set to open in 2023, further enhancing the medical services available in the region.
