About The Position
Medical direction practice model - no more than 1:4 CRNA oversight. MDs are personally responsible for regional anesthesia, labor and delivery coverage, and all cardiac cases. Should be familiar with common regional blocks for orthopedics - adductor, interscalene, popliteal, supraclavicular. Restricted (C1) call is in house - shifts are 16 hours on the weekdays and 24 hours on the weekends. Unrestricted (C2) call is from home - primarily call back for emergent cardiac cases.
