Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join our growing organization. This role will partner closely with a team of talented managers to support our operations for a specific contract supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia .

Requirements

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology in accordance with the American Board of Anesthesiology standards.
  • Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Must meet VA credentialing and privileging requirements , including participation in the VA VetPro credentialing system.
  • Must comply with all federal and VA requirements related to clinical performance and patient care standards.
  • Must successfully pass verification against the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) List of Excluded Individuals/Entities .
  • Must complete required VA cybersecurity and patient privacy training prior to receiving access to VA systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesiology services to eligible Veteran patients at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center.
  • Deliver anesthesia care in accordance with accepted clinical standards and within the scope of privileges granted by the VA Medical Center.
  • Participate in clinical quality monitoring programs including Focused Provider Practice Evaluation (FPPE) and Ongoing Provider Practice Evaluation (OPPE) .
  • Maintain accurate and timely completion of medical records in accordance with VA policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Adhere to VA clinical standards, safety protocols, and facility policies.
  • Comply with all VA credentialing, privacy, and information security requirements.
  • Participate in quality management activities including patient satisfaction initiatives and clinical performance reviews.
