About The Position

MedStar Medical Group Anesthesia (MMGA) is seeking a positive, team-oriented Anesthesiologist to join our team in our Lutherville (GI only) and Timonium Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) in Timonium, MD. MMGA Anesthesiologists work in a collaborative, care-team environment where everyone is a valued part of the anesthesia team. The surgery center is a part of the Baltimore region's first comprehensive center for orthopedics, spine and sports medicine. The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for administering anesthesia as well as administrative duties-i.e. scheduling, policy development, and implementation. This position is full-time, dayshift (M-F). No nights, weekends or call.

Requirements

• Proficiency in US regional blocks (adductor, IPACK, PECS, interscalene with Exparel) is desired.
• Medical degree and board certification in Anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients in a surgical setting.
• Perform administrative duties including scheduling and policy development.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality patient care.
