About The Position

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting an Anesthesiologist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Pensacola VA Clinic located at 790 Veterans Way Pensacola, FL 32507. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm with no call or holidays. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available. Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
  • NPI report printout
  • Active DEA license
  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
  • All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force

Responsibilities

  • Plan and administer anesthesia care for patients with all anesthesia classifications.
  • Provision of pain relief and maintenance or restoration, of a stable condition during and immediately following a surgical procedure or an obstetric or diagnostic procedure.
  • Assess risk of the patient undergoing surgery and optimize the condition of the patient prior to, during, and after surgery.
  • Assessment of, consultation for, and preparation of patients for anesthesia including performance of history and physical examination.
  • Medical management of patients during the peri-operative period who are under physical and emotional stress.
  • Management of post anesthetic recovery including procedural pain.
  • Obtain informed consent in conformance with organization policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and administer general and regional anesthesia.
  • Insertion of temporary pacemaker for life-threatening arrhythmias.
  • Provides direction and clinical oversight related to the medical practice of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s).
