About The Position
Provides support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of equipment and supplies; contribute to safe efficient and cost-effective anesthesia care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Tech program, applicable military anesthesia technician course of study, or evidence of adequate job skills training in lieu of schooling.
- Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) certification within 6 months of date of hire (full and part time staff only)
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire

- 1 year experience in anesthesia technical/biomedical field
Responsibilities
- Assists the licensed anesthesia providers in various settings.
- Performs duties under the direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider.
- Provides support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
