Assist licensed anesthesia provider with duties related to the care and monitoring of patients and equipment. Partner directly with anesthesia providers to assist with patient assessments, monitoring, positioning, and transport. You will play a key role in airway management and the insertion of intravenous and invasive lines. Clean, sterilize, and set up all anesthesia-related equipment. You will perform daily maintenance and act as the first line of defense in troubleshooting technical malfunctions. Ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available, functioning, and properly positioned for scheduled, urgent, and emergent surgical procedures. Maintain a high-functioning workspace by managing an adequate inventory of essential supplies, ensuring the team never lacks the tools they need for patient care.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Anesthesia Tech preferred.
