About The Position

Anesthesia Technician at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is 0.6 FTE part time position working during weekdays and weekends on a day shift. Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision of a registered perioperative nurse. The anesthesia technician supports the anesthesia providers by the preparation and set up of appropriate equipment and supplies for each surgical case. This includes connecting monitoring lines, preparing infusion sets, and operating all common physiological monitors. The incumbent must be able to apply several specialized tests. Requirements

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 2 years of clinical experience in an accredited hospital with operating room or as an Anesthesia Technician.
  • Completion of Anesthesia Technology Degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.
