About The Position

Anesthesia Tech – Anesthesia Department - Days Position Highlights: Position: Anesthesia Tech Location: Skokie, IL Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm What you will do: Under direction of supervisor, assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover. Auditing, stocking and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures and documentation Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System

Requirements

High School Graduate or Associates Degree
High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate’s Degree if no clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
