GENERAL OVERVIEW: Assists anesthesia personnel with the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment utilized during peri-operative procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate from an Anesthesia Technician program.
• CPR - American Heart Association.

• Previous anesthesia technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to anesthesia personnel during the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment.
• Ensures that all anesthetizing locations are in a state of readiness.
• Maintain proper standards of cleanliness and organization of the Anesthesia workroom.
• Manages equipment, supplies, and medication according to established guidelines to maintain safe, efficient, and cost effective programs.
• Participates in hospital, division, and department activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
