About The Position

Anesthesia Technician - FT - Main OR - St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA Position Purpose: The Anesthesia Technician will work in the Main OR within St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA. What you will do: The Anesthesia Technician carries out routine patient care duties and related activities under the direct supervision of Anesthesia/Main OR/Preop Holding/Perioperative Manager and/or Surgical Services Director. What you will need: Licensure/Certification/Registration: Nursing Assistant certification preferred. BLS certification required. B. Education: Must be a high school graduate and successful completion of an educational program OR competencies specific to Anesthesia Tech. C: Experience: At least 6 months of employment in an OR setting as Anesthesia Tech or similar role. Phlebotomy and EKG training preferred. Requirements

• BLS certification required.
