About The Position

Provides support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of equipment and supplies; contribute to safe efficient and cost-effective anesthesia care.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Tech program, applicable military anesthesia technician course of study, or evidence of adequate job skills training in lieu of schooling.
Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) certification within 6 months of date of hire (full and part time staff only)
Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire

Nice To Haves

1 year experience in anesthesia technical/biomedical field

Responsibilities

Assists the licensed anesthesia providers in various settings.
Performs duties under the direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider.
Provides support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia.
Performs other duties as assigned.
