After the first year the hours will change to 12:00pm to 8:30pm.Weekday and weekend call required after year one.Job Description:Supervised and trained by the Anesthesiology Clinical Instructor and the Manager, Anesthesiology or their designee, the Anesthesia Technologist I (ATI) assists Anesthesiologists and CRNAs with the technical preparation for the induction of anesthesia and airway management. The ATI will learn to prepare and maintain supplies and equipment used for administration of anesthesia and other related procedures. Once the ATI is proficient in performing the appropriate duties, the colleague will participate in the on-call rotation with a preceptor to receive exposure to advanced cases that have minimal daytime frequency. The AT1 will perform duties and responsibilities associated with call and meet all of the policy requirements under supervision. The preceptor will continue to support the AT1 until the colleague is ready for independent yet supported work.
