About The Position

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. The Anesthesia Technician will assist physicians in the physiological monitoring of patients and the preparation of drugs, fluids, anesthetics, and equipment ancillary to operative intervention of other procedures requiring anesthesia. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining monitoring and anesthesia equipment. The technician will complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Previous surgical attendant or nursing assistant experience in an acute care or ambulatory surgery environment.
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an anesthesia technician.
• Anesthesia Technician certification.
