Anesthesia Tech (Full-time, Day shift)
About The Position
Hudson Regional Health (HRH) is a newly unified healthcare network serving Hudson County through four hospitals: Secaucus University Hospital, Bayonne University Hospital, Hoboken University Hospital, and The Heights University Hospital. HRH aims to deliver modern, patient-first care supported by innovation, including robotic-assisted surgery, AI-powered diagnostics, real-time monitoring, and precision neurosurgery. The network provides advanced emergency services, robotic-assisted surgery, neurosurgery & spine care, women’s health & maternity, imaging & diagnostics, and outpatient & specialty care. The Anesthesia Tech works specifically within Anesthesia, managing daily anesthesia supplies, non-controlled substances, and equipment to support quality and safe anesthesia care. The role also involves assisting in the turnover of Operating Rooms, Obstetric Operating Rooms, and Intervention Rooms, and aiding Physicians in anesthetic preparation as requested.
Requirements
- Familiar with the surgical environment/equipment.
- Completes CPR per Hospital Policy.
- Influenza Vaccinations are a requirement for employment. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date, during the influenza season, if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical exemption.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in Surgical Services or Anesthesia environment.
Responsibilities
- Works specific within Anesthesia, and is directly responsible for the daily management of anesthesia supplies, non-controlled substances and equipment in support of the provision of quality, safe anesthesia care.
- Assists in turnover of Operating Rooms, Obstetric Operating Rooms and Intervention Rooms.
- Assists Physicians as requested in preparation of Anesthetics.
- Performs all other duties as assigned and requested by head of Anesthesia or appropriate designee.
