About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Operating Room Manager or designee, work is performed in conjunction with anesthesiologists and CRNAs, in accordance with established hospital standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, established regulatory and accreditation requirements and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital and nursing department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of work in a related healthcare setting
- Current BCLS certification
Nice To Haves
- American Society of Anesthesia Technician Certification desired
Responsibilities
- Assists in maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Provides assistance in routine anesthesia procedures
- Assists with room turnover
- Cleans disinfects and sterilizes anesthesia equipment between cases
- Performs tests and troubleshoots problems with equipment/supplies per protocol
- Perform other duties as required.
