Anesthesia Tech (Full-time, Day shift)

About The Position

Works specific within Anesthesia, and is directly responsible for the daily management of anesthesia supplies, non-controlled substances and equipment in support of the provision of quality, safe anesthesia care. Also responsible for assisting in turnover of Operating Rooms, Obstetric Operating Rooms and Intervention Rooms. Assists Physicians as requested in preparation of Anesthetics. Performs all other duties as assigned and requested by head of Anesthesia or appropriate designee.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferable in Surgical Services or Anesthesia environment.
Familiar with the surgical environment/ equipment.
Completes CPR per Hospital Policy.
Includes standing, walking, lifting patients.
Occasionally must reach above head, carry medium to light equipment, stoop, pushing wheelchairs and stretchers, beds.
Influenza Vaccinations are a requirement for employment. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date, during the influenza season, if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical exemption.
