Mary Bridge Children’s multi-disciplinary approach to care includes pediatric experts for emergency services, inpatient care, and outpatient specialty clinics, all specializing in kids and their unique needs. FTE: 1.0 Shift: Days Schedule: 8 hour day shifts. Position Summary The Anesthesia Technician/Technologist is responsible for procurement, maintenance, availability of supplies and equipment pertaining to anesthesia care; assisting professional nursing staff and anesthesiologists during the intubation and extubation phases of anesthesia; assisting in preparation and placement of special invasive and non-invasive lines/procedures; and providing room turnover for anesthesia and in any other areas of the procedure or operating room, as time and skill allow.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited anesthesia technician/technologist program preferred
  • Current certification as an Anesthesia Technician through the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) or, CNA, MA or EMT certification preferred.
  • One year of experience in an Anesthesia Tech position in lieu of certification may be considered
  • BLS Certification required

Nice To Haves
