Get to Know Your Team: Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T. or Cer.A.T.T.).
- Completion of the Anesthesia Technician training program.
- One year of experience in a healthcare or surgical setting.
Responsibilities
- The Anesthesia Technician supports anesthesia providers in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies for procedures.
- This includes setup, operation, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment, as well as assisting during induction and recovery phases.
- This role ensures the readiness of equipment and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient surgical environment.
