Position Summary: The Non-certified Anesthesia Technician assists the licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia providing support in anesthesia for routine and complex surgical cases. The Anesthesia Technician prepares and maintains patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Assists the licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia providing support in anesthesia for routine and complex surgical cases.
Prepares and maintains patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia.
Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
