Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience or 4+ years of relevant experience; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Anesthesia sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to industry and market dynamics.
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Strong intuition for business and knowledge of selling processes.
  • Contracts management and negotiation experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas through the direct sale of our anesthesia portfolio as well as drive the placement of anesthesia vaporizers through our Vaporizer Lease Program.
  • Identify and communicate hospital initiatives in the perioperative space where our products can provide a solution.
  • Leverage appropriate clinical messaging, tools and resources to move concepts through the funnel to close business and achieve plan while maintaining compliance.
  • Identify key decision makers in each targeted account and influence the buying decisions throughout the customer organization.
  • Deliver on all aspects of the anesthesia contract strategy.
  • Prepare and execute an agreed upon territory call plan that is both effective and efficient, enhancing high value in-person customer interactions while assuring sales and marketing resources are used wisely.
  • Target Academic Medical Centers in territory focusing on the promotion and clinical education of the portfolio and ensure clinicians are familiar and comfortable with the use of our products in the clinical setting.
  • Develop strong relationships with current customer base in given territory assuring retention of current business and expansion of new business.
  • Leverage segmentation and targeting tools, customer knowledge and market dynamics to identify and develop a forecast & strategy for focus accounts.
  • Identify potential contract opportunities and gain customer agreement for effective solutioning.
  • Assess, recommend and facilitate clinical education programs to support sales of our anesthesia product portfolio.
  • Identify & understand concepts of high degree of influence buying influences within focus accounts.
  • Represent the voice of customer by sharing trends, opportunities, challenges and successes with Sales Leadership.
  • Build relationships, communicate effectively and work collaboratively with internal colleagues to solve problems, improve processes and achieve results.
