About The Position

United Health Services Hospitals is a family of health service organizations that exists to improve the health of the communities we serve by developing and maintaining a comprehensive and cost-effective health care system. A not-for-profit organization, located in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York with Primary and Specialty Care offices in many locations throughout Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Tioga counties. We are seeking to hire a Board Eligible / Board Certified Anesthesiologist to work as a Nocturnist and join our busy practice which consists of 14 physicians and 20 CRNAs. We provide coverage at two local hospitals – UHS Wilson Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center, (280 beds) and Binghamton General Hospital (220 beds), with opportunities for extra shifts at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. Practice includes all procedures, including a light cardiac. Call 1:4, with resident rotation. The position includes a competitive salary of $675,000 with a $50,000 sign on bonus. Driving distance (between 2-5 hours) to New York City, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, CT/NY/DE/MD beaches, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Excellent restaurants, Finger Lakes Wine Trail, private and public universities, hunting/fishing. The largest shopping mall in the northeast (Destiny USA) 1 hour drive.
