About The Position

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services seeks an experienced Anesthesiologist to lead the team at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Our goal is to maintain a supportive, productive clinical environment where team members thrive and can focus on providing outstanding patient care. In this key role, the Facility Medical Director is responsible for the oversight and management of all clinical operations including staffing and utilization of full-time and premium contingent labor, compliance with protocols and practice standards as well as successfully partnering with hospital divisions including but not limited to Surgical Services and C-suite/Administration. The ideal candidate will be a highly effective communicator with a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards, practice stability and retention of our talented team members. Qualified Candidates: Will be ABMS Board Certified and have the ability to be licensed in North Carolina Can expect a mix of procedures in a very busy facility (50,000 cases annually, care team model of 35+ MDs and over 100 CRNAs Will enjoy a wide variety of cases including cardiac, ortho, neuro, general, urology, ENT, Bariatric, Vascular, Thoracic, OB/GYN, Peds and Trauma Incentive/Benefits Package: W2, salaried position with HCA Healthcare Competitive salary and excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision and more Base salary is for 41.5 hours per week/44 weeks annually. Requirements

  • ABMS Board Certified
  • Ability to be licensed in North Carolina
