Maintains anesthesia supplies and anesthesia equipment.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS) Must have within 45 days of hire.
  • Required or three years relevant experience
  • Work Experience Previous health care experience, as Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant preferred
  • Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

  • Stocks all anesthesia supplies in the operating room, L&D, and all anesthesia supply rooms
  • Maintains equipment as anesthesia machines, ventilators, cardiac monitors, fluid warmers, end-tidal CO2 and pulse oximeters.
  • Assists with patient care
