We have an immediate opening for an Andrology/Endocrinology Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York in New York, New York (Eastside). Requirements

Bachelors in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science required, or an earned Associates degree in lab science or medical technology
Experience in a busy, complex working environment
Must demonstrate an aptitude for performance of laboratory services
Proven skills to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
Ability to work in a high standard, stressful environment
Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Perform Andrology / Endocrinology data entry
Perform laboratory quality control procedures
Assist with preparation of daily schedule, and preparation of Andrology / Endocrinology records for upcoming IVF patients
Witness patient identification labels as part of a two-person check with testing staff during procedures
Clean laboratory supplies and equipment
Assist with daily, weekly and monthly laboratory QC and cleaning tasks
Order, receive, and log in supplies
Restock laboratory with supplies according to lot numbers and expiration dates
Facilitate the transfer in and transfer out of cryopreserved sperm samples
Work cooperatively with other members of the Andrology / Endocrinology team to assist with completion of procedures and tasks as needed
Attend practice and laboratory meetings as requested
