  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to increase development efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Work with back-end services teams to design services contracts optimized for mobile solutions.
  • Work with Agile/Scrum methodologies providing estimates of engineering efforts, identification of risks, guiding the planning of implementation and rollout of system changes with implications for multi-functional teams.
  • 6+ years of proven experience in Android Development.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
  • Experience with Android frameworks and libraries such as Jetpack Compose, Room, Retrofit, and Dagger.
  • Understanding of Android architectural patterns, particularly MVVM.
  • Proficient with Unit, UI, and End to End Testing, with an emphasis in crafting clean testable code.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • The ability to work both within a team and across multiple teams, to mentor and develop other team members, and to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Experience taking project features and scoping them into sub-tasks for ease of execution by others and removing potential issues before they become blockers.
