We are seeking talented Information Technology professionals to join the Waste Management team who are motivated to help us transform the way we design, build and use technology. I. Job Summary Directs the efforts of a team in the design, development, implementation, and support of various information technology/systems applications and/or projects focused on but not limited to mobile technology.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Six (6) years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
May require in depth skills in one or more of the following: implementation and support, large-scale data centers, application development projects, application testing, analytical skills, general IT knowledge, and project management.

Responsibilities

Deep expertise in Android app development (Kotlin/Java, modern architectures), with strong working knowledge of Python for backend or automation tasks, AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3), and practical experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into mobile applications using tools such as TensorFlow Lite or AWS AI services
Coordinates with business owners to determine business needs or requirements.
Plans initiatives and projects, establishes priorities and monitors progress.
Acts as a team leader or project manager and/or establishes and communicates common goal and direction for the team.
Evaluates status and resource utilization and implements changes to improve the team's effectiveness.
May coordinate with other managers to integrate project with applications and/or initiatives.
Prepares reports and presentations and necessary. Coordinates communication between peers, team, business owners and management.
Coordinates and oversees career development, performance management, pay determination and team communication.
