About The Position

The Android Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. He/She has a robust background in Android development, a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem, and a proven track record of delivering successful mobile applications.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in native Android app development using Kotlin
Strong understanding of Android architecture, UI/UX guidelines, and best practices
Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration of external services
Solid understanding of mobile design principles and user experience
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Previous experience mentoring or leading junior developers is a plus

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features for Android applications
Lead the end-to-end development process, ensuring the high quality and timely delivery of mobile applications
Architect and build scalable, maintainable, and efficient code for Android applications using Kotlin
Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate and consume APIs, ensuring smooth data flow between the mobile app and server
Stay updated with the latest Android trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the quality and performance of our applications
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems that may arise
