About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team and contribute to building and maintaining robust mobile applications for Wells Fargo. This is a hands-on development role that offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a collaborative and fast-paced enterprise environment.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of total development experience.
• 4+ years of Android development in an enterprise setting.
• 3+ years of Kotlin experience, including Reactive Programming (RxJava), Coroutines, Dependency Injection (Dagger), Retrofit, and Jetpack Architecture Components.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Proven experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store (examples or links to published apps preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Technical degree or equivalent additional hands-on experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• FinTech or banking experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with Reactive Programming (RxJava).
• Background in Dependency Injection (Dagger) and Retrofit.
• Familiarity with financial technology (FinTech) or banking applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications for Wells Fargo’s mobile platforms.
• Contribute to the design, architecture, and overall quality of Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, and product) to deliver enterprise-grade mobile solutions.
• Ensure applications meet performance, quality, and responsiveness standards.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Identify and fix bugs and improve application performance.
