Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.
  • 2-5+ years of software development experience.
  • Must have work experience with a strong focus on architecture and design of Android devices and platforms.
  • Proficiency in at least two of the major programming languages used in AOSP (Java, C, C++, Kotlin).
  • Android app development experience using Kotlin and native.
  • UI development, optimal performance, and adaptation to various screen sizes.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of revision control and code review tools like Git, Gerrit etc.
  • General understanding of security protocols, encryption/decryption technologies, PKI, HSM, certificates management.

Nice To Haves

  • Embedded/MCU/ARM Cortex development, RTOS, C language experience.
  • Previous experience in the payments industry, specifically working with EMVco or exposure to PCI/PTS standards, would be very helpful but is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions that span Android applications, Inter CPU communication, RTOS, and payment kernels.
  • Develop and integrate new payment features into our products, including dynamic currency conversion, offline support, and mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Android Pay.
  • Take ownership of specific payment components, ensuring their reliability and performance across different device types.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system integration issues and triage bugs related to payment applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to clarify specifications, and work closely with international certification and test organizations.
  • Perform production support services as part of a regular on-call rotation.
