About The Position
KSNV is seeking a dynamic news leader to take us to the next level. The position says "anchor" but the ideal candidate will be more comfortable in the field than behind a desk. We need someone who understands that content is what drives our relationship with viewers now, so reporting is a must and will be a regular expectation. The ideal candidate also knows how to cultivate digital and social content each day to engage and recruit an audience. This is a job for an experienced storyteller who wants to connect with our community on every platform we have. Our viewers expect a lot of our brand and the right candidate should take that charge seriously. Las Vegas is a changing, dynamic market and the ideal candidate needs to embrace that and commit to help cover our growth. The ideal candidate will have: Strong Leadership skills Smooth/pleasant delivery Strong writing skills and news judgment Sharp video shooting and editing skills Exemplary communication skills
Requirements
- You must have at least five years of on-air experience
- Live commercial television experience is a must
- Strong "in-the-field and live" skills
- Exceptional written communications skills using a conversational writing style
- Strong editorial judgment and a proven ethical foundation
