From pitching stories to delivering engaging newscasts, your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of reporting and anchoring. You'll be part of a collaborative team that creates compelling, timely, accurate, character-driven content to connect with viewers across traditional and digital platforms. Requirements
- Television news anchoring - 3+ years
- Television news reporting - 5+ years
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field; or comparable television work experience
- Video editing
- Still photography
- Social media marketing
- Reporting and anchoring
- Managing multiple priorities effectively
- Lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
- Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community
- Work different shifts or longer shifts due to 'breaking news' and severe weather emergencies and able to work weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license for authorized driving in the state of residence
