The Anatomy Laboratory Tutor Temp provides supplemental educational support to PA students during the didactic and clinical phases.

Requirements

  • Strong foundational knowledge of human gross anatomy.
  • Ability to explain complex anatomical concepts clearly.
  • Familiarity with cadaver-based laboratory environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Coursework or training in anatomy or a related health science discipline.
  • Experience with cadaver-based anatomy labs.
  • Prior teaching, tutoring, or TA experience in anatomy or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience tutoring anatomy in PA, medical, or graduate health science programs.
  • Familiarity with EORE structure or similar assessments.
  • Ability to support diverse learners using flexible strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver weekly, in-person gross anatomy laboratory tutoring sessions for PA Cohort 2027.
  • Provide guidance on anatomical structures, dissection review, and lab-based correlations.
  • Provide supplemental tutoring for PA Cohort 2026 supporting EORE preparation.
  • Coordinate tutoring times avoiding conflicts with classes or exams.
  • Maintain confidentiality and operate solely as an independent contractor.
  • Up to 20 hours per week, not to exceed 20 total weeks of service.
  • Orientation to the anatomy laboratory must occur during weekday business hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM).
