About The Position

ANATOMIC PATHOLOGIST, BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (USA). The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at and Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time AP/CP (or APonly) board-certified Pathologist who has strong general pathology skills to join our practice at the Boston University Medical Group (BUMG). Subspecialty expertise and/or fellowship training is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated interest in teaching pathology residents, medical and graduate students. Qualification for Massachusetts Medical License is required. There is an expectation of scholarly activity including collaborative research and publications, but the candidate will not be expected to submit grants for extramural funding. Academic rank will depend on the credentials of the applicant. Boston Medical Center was formed by the merger of the historic Boston City Hospital and Boston University Hospital in 1996. We are a non-profit 514 bed academic medical center located in the South End of Boston. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine has 35 faculty who engage in clinical service, education and research. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget. The salary range is $240,951 to $427,772. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Requirements
