Job Overview: The Anaplan Senior Product Manager owns the design and architecture of Macy's Anaplan platform, ensuring it meets business objectives while maintaining system stability and scalability. They collaborate with Merchandise Planning leadership and the broader planning community to develop a delivery roadmap, analyze business needs, and prioritize features that deliver maximum value. To support successful implementations, the Anaplan Senior Product Manager partners with user subject matter experts and system administrators to define and document business processes and requirements, providing clear direction to model builders and technical partners.

Requirements

  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • 5 years of Corporate or Line of Business FP&A experience.
  • 3 years of Anaplan experience as system owner/admin, model builder, product owner or solution architect.
  • Anaplan Model Builder certifications preferred.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel.
  • Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms.
  • Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to assess business needs and capabilities, translating requirements into a clear vision and roadmap for the Anaplan product that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Lead the development of features and functionality for strategic enterprise initiatives, including identifying opportunities, conducting user research, defining requirements, managing implementation, and evaluating outcomes.
  • Partner with business teams to create delivery roadmaps and define business processes and corresponding system requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end system implementation projects, including documenting requirements, designing solutions, configuring systems, developing and executing test plans, and addressing issues.
  • Lead a team of Anaplan Model Builders, overseeing prioritization and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of key business initiatives.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
