About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Business Data Analyst to join out team. The ideal candidate will be a bridge between Finance and Technology, leveraging hands-on experience supporting Enterprise-Performance Management(EPM) solutions to drive data accuracy and financial insights. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining Anaplan dashboards, utilizing scripting to support data automation and reconciliation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with EPM Solutions(Anaplan preferred), with focus on model analysis, dashboarding and user experience pages.
• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
• Exposure to Python for scripting, data manipulation, or integration support.
• Understanding of financial planning process, cost center structures, and enterprise reporting needs.
• Strong a problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting financial planning in a large, matrixed organization like AIG.
• Preferred Anaplan Model building certification
• Experience or exposure to SAP environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive planning dashboards and models within EPM environments(with focus on Anaplan) to support financial planning, expense forecasting, and allocation processes.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, and Functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide ongoing support for the planning calendar, ensuring timely availability of reports, dashboards, and reconciliations.
• Asset with data integration and transformation using Python scripts and automation tools to streamline workflows between various financial systems.
• Leverage Python/Anaplan ADO/Excel for data extraction, transformation, and detailed analysis to support reconciliation between EPM Platforms and legacy systems(e.g. SAP BPC)
• Validate data integrity between EPM models and subledger systems, ensuring high standards of accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing(UAT) and deployment cycles for model enhancements and new system rollouts.
• Contribute to user training, process documentation, and the enhancement of the user experience through feedback loops.
