About The Position

The Anaplan COE Leader at Siemens will spearhead the deployment of the digital twin of sales, focusing on a customer and data-centric sales approach using the Anaplan platform. This role aims to enhance the Sales Performance Management (SPM) experience for sales and business leaders, facilitating data-driven decision-making and seamless customer service. The leader will build relationships across the organization, collaborate with global leaders, and ensure the successful adoption of Anaplan solutions to improve sales forecasting and planning.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years proven experience in a sales or sales operations domain.
  • 4+ years experience implementing enterprise planning solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers and senior-level stakeholders to support technology adoption.
  • Advanced to expert proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience owning large, complex end-to-end solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Experience motivating organizational change.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Anaplan Sales Performance Platform.
  • English proficiency.
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Expertise in running transformations in large multi-national organizations.
  • Previous completion of Anaplan Model Building training (Level 1&2).

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships at senior levels of the organization to drive influence and consensus for Anaplan adoption.
  • Act as a spokesperson for Anaplan, showcasing its business value and impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global leaders to ensure Anaplan solutions meet business requirements.
  • Partner with business and technical leads to diagnose existing processes and convert sales-planning use cases into Anaplan applications.
  • Work with functional business process owners and executives to address strategic and operational issues in sales forecasting and planning.
  • Prioritize and ensure completion of tactical initiatives for Connected Sales Planning.
  • Liaise between program leadership, business units, and IT to resolve issues impacting execution.
  • Define project objectives, metrics, scope, and strategy for Anaplan platform development.
  • Communicate impact and ROI to partners and track progress towards goals.
  • Promote Anaplan's best practices and stay informed of new features and releases.
