Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of analytical systems, instrumentation, and sample
  • Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial electrical practices
  • Ability to independently interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and customer specifications
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex system-level issues
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced test environment with minimal supervision
  • Exhibits strong and effective communication skills for providing technical feedback to internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be willing to travel for job assignments as required, maintain a rapport with customer representatives, and be dedicated to safety, quality, service, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Vocational School diploma, Associates; degree, equivalent technical courses, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the integration of electrical systems.
  • Must have knowledge of National Electrical Code as well as industrial sampling systems.

Responsibilities

  • Possess strong skills to integrate analyzer system projects using customer-approved drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Perform functional and operational testing of completed analyzer system packages
  • Verify compliance with customer specifications, industry codes, and Yokogawa minimum acceptable standards
  • Possess strong skills to Conduct system-level operational testing and validation
  • Perform Complex Troubleshoot to analyzer systems including instrumentation, sample conditioning systems, analyzers, and PLC systems
  • Possess strong skills to Diagnose and resolve non-standard or complex technical issues with minimal supervision
  • Support multiple customer projects concurrently while meeting testing and delivery schedules
  • Provide technical feedback to Operations, Sales, Technical Support Center, and Quality Assurance regarding system functionality, test results, and improvement opportunities
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for expanded service offerings or system improvements based on customer needs
  • Act as a technical resource and provide guidance to less-experienced technicians as needed
  • Maintain responsibility for care, calibration awareness, and proper use of assigned test equipment and Yokogawa property
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of analytical instrumentation, including process analyzers, sampling systems, and related components. Effectively applies theory and practical skills to support complex analyzer applications.
  • Strong Knowledge to integrate analyzer hardware and software into customer systems, ensuring compatibility with control systems, networks, and plant infrastructure.
  • Executes system testing, site acceptance testing (SAT), and commissioning activities in accordance with project specifications.
  • Provide reliable, self-directed technical support to internal teams and customers with minimal supervision.
  • Effectively plans work, prioritizes tasks, and resolves issues to maintain project schedules and customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately develops and maintains technical documentation, including test procedures, reports, configuration records, and as-built documentation.
  • Communicates technical findings clearly and professionally.
  • Ensures all work aligns with applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., ISA, IEC, NEC, ATEX, OSHA) as well as customer-specific requirements.
  • Adheres to safety policies and promotes safe work practices during installation, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Utilizes diagnostic tools to validate system integrity, data accuracy, and communication with control and monitoring systems.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), Yokogawa systems and products, process control principles, and emerging analyzer technologies
