Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION: This position is responsible for creating reports, insights and analytics in support of the division; creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs; possibly providing consultation to users and leading cross functional teams to address the divisions issues; producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools; possibly performing research and assisting in analyzing data related to the divisions strategic initiatives and broader research needs; interfacing between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools to be leveraged in building analysis and reports which are actionable within the business environment; working closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of the divisions data in order to meet business needs; analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision makers; identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Job Purpose: (Customer Service)/ (SUBSET For Platform solutions) This position is responsible for creating reports, insights and analytics in support of the division; creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs; possibly providing consultation to users and leading cross-functional teams to address the division issues; producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools; possibly performing research and assisting in analyzing data related to the division strategic initiatives and broader research needs; interfacing between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools to be leveraged in building analysis and reports which are actionable within the business environment; working closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of the division data in order to meet business needs; analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers; identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. This position is responsible for acting as the liaison between business and analytical teams; communicating healthcare payer-based business concepts to analytics users; communicating and marketing the value of analytics outputs to business users in healthcare payer settings. Job Purpose: (IT) This position is responsible for providing reporting and analytical data in support of the Enterprise portfolio and IT Portfolio performance to IT and Business leaders; providing IT operational performance data and reporting to relevant parties; identifying, analyzing, and supporting process improvement efforts to reach divisional targets. Requirements

  • Bachelor degree and 4 years of analytical experience in relationship management or driving analytics insights into action OR 9 years of analytical experience in relationship management or driving analytics insights into action.
  • Experience gathering and document business requirements in support of information-related strategies.
  • Experience solving complex problems
  • Experience taking a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Knowledge of various software development processes, including SDLC, Agile methodologies, and tools and technologies.
  • Experience creating and conducting presentations to inform and influence.
  • Experience in leading functional teams and projects.
  • Experience with SAS, SPSS, R, MATLAB, SQL, Python etc.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • PC proficiency with Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Bachelor Degree and 4 years’ experience in data analysis and information reporting data OR 6 year experience in data analysis and information reporting data.
  • Experience utilizing SQL, SAS, Teradata or other reporting tools / languages.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences both in written and verbal form.
  • Lead projects and junior analyst.
  • Initiative to solve complex problems
  • takes an “outside –in” perspective to identify innovative solutions.
  • May lead functional teams or projects or decisions to support business needs for reporting and insights.
  • Work with both internal and external data.
  • Verify accuracy of reports and provide insights.
  • Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Knowledge of project portfolio management and related reporting and IT operational reporting.
  • Exposure to managing teams operating under reporting as a service model.
  • Accountability around decision support and analysis around program and project delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor degree in business, engineering or mathematics.

  • Healthcare experience in business development, business analytics, or innovation management
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as: Alteryx and SSIS
  • Ability to mentor other analysts to establish best practices
