About The Position

The Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing Sonesta’s enterprise-wide analytics capabilities. This position will lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex business data to uncover insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership with strong technical expertise to help build and sustain a data-driven culture. The Analytics Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize performance, enhance business outcomes, and guide strategic initiatives through actionable insights and advanced analytics solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or related discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing Analytics, Finance).
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence, including 2 + years in a leadership role managing analysts or BI professionals.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
  • Understanding of statistical modeling, data architecture, and best practices for handling large or complex datasets.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strategic Mindset: Connects analytics initiatives to organizational goals and revenue outcomes.
  • Communication & Storytelling: Skilled in presenting complex analyses in a clear, compelling, and influential manner.

  • Deliver compelling data visualizations, reports, and executive presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Continuously enhance reporting processes and visualization frameworks to improve storytelling, accessibility, and business decision-making.
