Analytics Intern
About The Position
Come join WCF insurance as an Analytics Intern for an educational hands-on approach to learning about insurance and mitigating risk. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), temporary position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters. This internship is ideal for students pursuing a degree in STEM or in the Business disciplines and are interested in applying analytical skills to gain experience in Sales and Distribution while exploring the insurance industry. After the internship, there is a possibility of a part-time position as an apprentice. We offer full benefits starting at 20 hours per week after the internship. Requirements
- Completed Sophomore year of college or more.
- Pursuing a degree in STEM or Business.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- General written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities
- collaborate with fellow interns and departments to learn insurance from many different angles
- weekly paid training sessions on insurance terminology
- regular opportunities to share experiences and insights with your cohort
- primarily focus on data analysis to support the Sales and Distribution team
- occasional involvement in events and related activities
