Anticipated End Date: August 14, 2026 – All interns must be in office and in person on their last day to return equipment. Interns must be located in the same location throughout the duration of their internship and are prohibited from returning laptop/equipment to a different office location or shipping their equipment back. Position Summary: The Analytics Engineering Intern will support the analytics and data engineering teams by helping to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and analytical solutions. This internship provides hands-on experience with modern data tools, technologies, and methodologies, making it ideal for students or recent graduates interested in the intersection of data engineering and analytics. An intern in this department can expect to learn: Gain experience with real-world data engineering challenges and solutions. Work alongside experienced professionals in analytics and engineering. Develop technical skills in data pipeline development, data modeling, and analytics. Exposure to modern tools, frameworks, and cloud platforms used in the industry.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, R, Java).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytics platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines for analytics and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Support the integration and transformation of data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files) using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Help document data models, workflows, and processes to ensure clarity and reproducibility.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Contribute to the optimization and automation of data workflows.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in analytics engineering.
