About The Position

Analytics Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is seeking a Analytics Engineer to enhance the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) cyber test capability in Seattle, WA. The selected candidate will partner with multiple business functions, understand data needs, and deliver high-impact dashboards and metrics. This role dominates end-to-end data workflows, from gathering requirements with stakeholders to designing robust data transformation pipelines and creating actionable BI dashboards. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence, enabling data-driven decisions across the organization. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level or Senior Analytics Engineers. Position Responsibilities:

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence roles building data pipelines and dashboards
Strong SQL expertise with the ability to write optimized queries for large datasets and transform data for reporting
Experience with ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation, including common tools or orchestration frameworks
Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports with one or more BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver actionable data products

Nice To Haves

Level 4 : 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with cloud data warehouses and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
Familiarity with data transformation and semantic modeling tools (e.g., dbt)
Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and automation
Knowledge of data governance, quality frameworks, and monitoring solutions
Prior experience in agile development processes and working with version control

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business partners to gather data requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into technical data solutions
Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform raw data into clean, reliable datasets for reporting
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate metrics, trends, and status updates using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Build and optimize data models and semantic layers that power self-service analytics and dashboard exploration
Monitor and improve data quality, resolve pipeline errors, and enforce governance and documentation standards
Support ongoing improvement of data processes and automation to reduce manual tasks and accelerate insights
Provide technical guidance to data analysts and support cross-functional teams in interpreting and utilizing dashboard results
