About The Position

Lendio is a Lehi, Utah-based fintech company empowering small businesses by simplifying access to capital. Through a curated marketplace of lenders, Lendio helps entrepreneurs secure the funding they need to survive and thrive. In addition to our established marketplace, we are expanding our product offerings to include software solutions for banks, credit unions, and other organizations that serve small business clients, making it easier for them to deliver faster, more efficient funding experiences. Lendio is looking for an Analytics Engineer to build, support, and expand the dashboarding and reporting functions in our SaaS products (see Intelligent Lending and Embedded Marketplace). What you will own Data pipeline engineering. Working together with data engineering and BI, you will ensure that the data warehouse utilized by our analytics offerings has all of the data structures and elements needed for the reports and dashboards we need to deploy to our SaaS clients. Assist in the design of reports. Using our embedded analytics products / frameworks (ThoughtSpot, AG Grid, etc.) and leveraging the data pipeline you manage, you will help to design the reports and dashboards that are delivered through our SaaS platform. Driving results. We don’t believe in simply building and releasing – we believe in ROI. This means you will be responsible for monitoring, resolving issues and tracking the performance of the analytics features you release – in terms of solving a stated problem, quality, adoption, and economics.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in data modeling and schema design
  • Advanced skills in SQL and scripting/parsing languages like python or scala
  • Ability to expertly communicate – both in terms of receiving (listening, comprehending) as well as articulating / conveying complex ideas from technical designs to user experience
  • Problem solving from converting requirements into designs to making architectures work toward an ideal outcome
  • Sufficient grasp of user experience design to appreciate and navigate the dynamics around user personas, mental models, and design principles
  • Project management to break down scope into minimal (yet valuable and releasable) components, managing timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and reporting on status and results
