About The Position

PITT OHIO , a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking an Analytics Engineer Intern . This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.

Requirements

• Must be majoring in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, and/or another Engineering/Analytical related discipline
• Completed at least Sophomore year at a University/College
• Minimum GPA of at least 3.0
• Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Office Software products
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI or another Business Intelligence software
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in data analysis and process improvement tools
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Persuasive presentation skills
• Fluent command in the English language is required to efficiently communicate with internal and external customers

Responsibilities

• Develop/maintain KPI reports within PowerBI
• Build ML Predictive Models within Python
• Querying data within SQL
• Data analysis
• Cross functional communication
• Support the other Engineers in the department
• Other duties as required
• Assist the team with other reporting and project requirements
