About The Position

As a critical member of our Analytics Engineering team, you will take ownership of our Executive Dashboards, serving as the key point of contact for executive-level reporting. You will build intuitive, insightful dashboards in Tableau that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that underlying data queries draw from reliable, high-quality sources, clearly defining and documenting metrics, and setting best practices and standards for dashboard creation, management, and discovery company-wide. This role is based in San Francisco, CA, and follows a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week. Relocation assistance is available for new hires.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, or a similar data-focused role.
• Advanced expertise in Tableau for developing executive-level dashboards and visualizations.
• Strong SQL skills with experience optimizing queries to support performant, accurate reporting.
• Exceptional skills in metric definition, documentation, and communication, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with Data Science, Business partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to understand and deliver on complex business needs.
• A proactive mindset for identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and dashboard usability.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes to enhance reporting efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Data Science & Business partners to understand reporting needs and deliver dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance executive dashboards using Tableau, ensuring they reflect best practices in data visualization and usability.
• Define, document, and maintain clear and precise definitions of key business metrics to ensure consistency and clarity across reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of underlying data queries, proactively identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Establish standards and best practices for dashboard development and management, educating stakeholders and team members on effective usage and interpretation.
• Partner cross-functionally with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to streamline data sourcing and drive continuous improvement in reporting capabilities.
